Newbie wishing to buy property in Costa Rica

Post Posted: Tue Jan 14, 2014 1:42 am

Hello friends

I'm brand new (Jan 2014) to this group and I am just entering the threshold of the pre-retirement point of my life.

I WAS interested in perhaps moving to Panama, convenient to the US, but part of my vision is to buy 10-100 acres to live on. Scratch Panama! Too expensive!

So I'm casting a wide net to those of you who may have advice.

I'm not interested in Africa. Prefer warmer climates in general. Obama and the growing insanity and violence in America has made my native country an increasingly alarmingly unsatisfactory place to live. Europe, especially Asia, and South America are of interest to me.

Thanks in advance for your consideration.

David =)
