What Can we take to Costa Rica without Duty Fee's

Post Posted: Wed Apr 20, 2016 9:17 pm

Hello! I am Lexy and am planning a trip to Costa Rica to see where I want to live.
I know about the HIGH duty percentage's on cars and electronics....but what can I take without being charged OR do they tax everything you take? Also, if I had to buy everything is Costa Rica to replace what I already have, is it affordable?
Any information as to how this all works would be great. We are thinking about getting a container to ship some stuff, do they hold it in customs for a long time?
