Looking to buy a cheap house
I would like to relocate to a rural area in Bulgaria but have a few concerns. I would enjoy the solitude of a rural location and have noticed several properties I believe i would enjoy.
Unfortunately my budget is on the very low end, £3400 to be precise, however could possibly push that to £4,000. I would very much like to spend my savings on buying a home here.
One of my major concerns however is access to internet as I require internet access for my revenue stream. Do the rural areas get high speed broadband or is that only in the cities?
I would also like to know what costs are involved in buying a property such as lawyers and translators
Another pressing issue is I do not know how to drive, it may be something I could look into learning over there but as the costs in the U.K. are so high and it has taken this long to save that much I would rather go without a vehicle. Generally speaking is it easy getting around in the villages, or is a car a definite requirement?
Thanks very much in advance!
You are going to find lots of property in this range but finding the right place for you will be the greatest challenge. On the whole, most villages will supply internet at a reasonable speed, but dont expect lightning speeds and maybe some hours down in bad weather and will cost you about 25 lev per month
I dealt with a brilliant agent in Yambol who offer free viewing and no petrol charges (English couple) who are so helpful and their office is usually full with old clients just going in for a chat or advise
see link below for one of their offer . I am sure they can answer all your questions for the villages you may be interested in
well I can say I found my place "nirvarna" (near Varna)
