Telegraph request: Did you move when your kids left home?
I'm writing an article for the Sunday Telegraph this weekend about the various stages of "empty nest syndrome", one of which being that parents whose kids have moved out might decide to move abroad.
I'm looking for case studies of people who have moved abroad when their children left home! I want to know about what it was like telling children they were moving, were they supportive? Why did you want to move abroad, and how have you found it?
My deadline is Thursday 22nd Sept (2016). Please post below and tell me your thoughts!
