You can do it by setting an IP address that makes the server in UK think your in UK, one of the guys at work was telling me about it, will find out more and post it after Easter.

If you sign up with www.my-private-network.co.uk, they give you access to a VPN connection / IP address which makes bbc i player and itv player think that you are in England.... then you have access to all the british tv channels on your PC. I've found this to be extremely cheap ( five pounds a month) and reliable service, which is really simple to use.

In Jolster, Sogn og Fjordane, I get all the FreeSat channels free into a cheap FTA (Free To Air) receiver and a 1.35m dish BUT, in strong winds, certain times of day or year, the signal isn't great. Where you are, I'd get a similar dish to mine and you'll feel as if you're living in the UK.

My 11 year old son loves the variety on UK TV and I can't get Norwegian TV here unless, I think, I use satellite.

Try buying a good LNB with multiple outputs and more receivers. I have one receiver streaming BBC Radio 4 via an FM transmitter to radios in the house, another can be sending Look North BBC Yorks and Lincolnshire to another TV,. the kids can watch CITV in the living room and you can video Top Gear on the other.

Hi,

Good question I found whilst searching the forums.

I don't know why people are still paying for basic TV channels when there are so many sites now.

Have you tried the Filmon website? "WatchAllChannels" is another good alternative.

There is lots of UK TV abroad there for free!

I don't work there or anything. They are a massive company that I am sure don't need me promoting it but I love a bit of it myself so I am happy to help with a subject I am especially passionate about!

-Chris.
