New China Blacklist Exposes 389 ESL School & Recruiter Scams
Reddit has started a "China Scam Central" sub to supplement the the 4 other China ESL & TEFL blacklists but this new one goes beyond the teaching inductry and exposes other job and visa scams as well as study abroad fraud, travel, and investment scams that China Scam Patrol reports is claiming over 1,500 expat victims every month. The average loss on the frauds is $5,865. So far 39 recruiter/agents and 23 employers have been exposed. But since this list is updated daily by members, it may soon surpass the 389 scammers exposed at scam.com's China's Liar List which is now going on it's fifth year. www.scam.com/showthrea...-BLACKLIST
So those of us looking to work in China can save a lot of time, money, and grief, by reviewing the warnings posted by our fellow expats who went before us. No need for us to step on the same land mine so to speak. Here is the new reddit sub chinascamcentral.com
Have a look and see what you think.
I'm not worried about identity theft because I don't use credit and have blocked all credit checks. I'm also pretty good and detecting scam attempts and snooping on the scammers. But what I do not know is where to send the information I collect so that the jerks can be prosecuted.
