Medication question
Posted: Sun Jul 09, 2017 3:20 am
My husband and I are very excited with a job prospect in KL, but are disheartened to hear that we might not be able to get a prescription that my son needs for his ADHD. Our pharmacists looked it up and said the only medications available for ADHD are two of the "old school" ones, and the newer one we use (controlled medication - so can only fill monthly) is not avalaible. This would be a deal breaker for us since this helps him immensely. Any insight on if medications (like you could get in the USA) are accessible there - especially for their large expat population? I can't imagine we are the first in this situation. Thanks!!
