Interim Healthcare?

Post Posted: Fri Jun 02, 2017 6:00 pm

On 12 July I sell my UK house and head South. In theory, without a UK address I will no longer have UK health cover from that day forward. It takes 3 months minimum to get access to get access to the French system. It therefore seems that despite being a tax payer in one country or the other for the full year, neither country will provide healthcare for a 3 month interim period. Is my understanding correct? Is there another solution?

International Health Insurance through a private broker is your best bet, I recommend Global Insurance Net, they helped me with my claims and provide help with questions.
