Won a house on a property auction (not ebay)

Post Posted: Thu Jun 01, 2017 11:13 pm

Hi Guys.
My names Scott, Scottish, single & 46.....typical Scotsman, doesnt do things by half & just won a property on an auction site at start of May in Lozen VT 5172 via Bulgaria Direct / Investment Link Veliko Turnovo

Travelling out to BG in 10 days time (as i said...i dont do things by half lol) & just looking for some advice on what i need to do here in the Uk & once i arrive in bulgaria....ive already paid for the property & legal fees in full & supplied copy of passport to the bulgarian agent Iva who was selling the property.

Ive received via email the Declaration 25 Article & POA to sign & thats really about it along with a copy of the title deeds dated 2015 which were in bulgarian & ive had them translated.

Is there anything else i should've received by now before travelling out.... my agent IVA is being very patient & helpful but i dont want to keep asking hundreds of questions but its all via email so i thought id join here for quick chats & information from anyone who has possibly done the same

Looking forward to talking to anyone & meeting up in the near future

Cheers
Scott

Hi

Sorry for the no reply bit Smile It has been pretty quiet on here as late so I don't think we are looking as often as we use to Sad

It is hard to understand what you mean. What do you need to do in the UK ?. Does that mean you are coming here and leaving the UK behind,

I don't really know the answers so hope someone else will.

Is the agent in Bulgaria, if so you should visit and pick up the original skitsa , usually a plan of the house and land. My Sister and Brother in law have friends around the VT area , I will ask the to look and maybe get in touch with you

I hope all goes well and that someone from the VT area will join in this thread
