Guanajuato Cohousing is forming a group of 12-16 adults. ages 30-70 whose members seek a sharing and caring bilingual, multi-cultural community whose aim is:

<to live comfortably and economically by sharing a fully-equipped, large communal house bordered by private cottage/duplexes for couples and individuals.

<to pledge our generosity and caring support to one another.

<to provide a secure home base from which to explore and gain appreciation of the culture, customs, and traditions of Mexico

<to live in harmony with the surrounding community of Guanajuato.

3bed/2bath communal house, garage/shop+studio apartment. 6500m2 land located on a ridge- top ecological zone with spectacular view of the city on one side and a reservoir on the other.

Communal house is on one level, fully wheel-chair accessible including outside ramps. Includes large sala and kitchen with full appliances; laundry with washer and dryer, steel shelves, upright freezer; storage room; closets; one full bath with hydro-massage tub and shower; one bath with walk-in shower; inner patio with fountain and Lexan dome; extensive landscaping and kitchen garden; 5-person outdoor jacuzzi; fully fenced with gate.

Members will build their own cottages. All land and buildings will become assets of a non-profit corporation and members will own equal shares of all.
