Tier 2 ICT and Tier 2 ICT dependent at same time

Post Posted: Wed Jan 03, 2018 2:43 am

Hi There,

One query i have , wonder someone can help . I am in UK on a Tier 2 ICT dependent visa. I am on leave with my employer and last week got a project in UK itself with them. Now i am going back to india to process my COS and Tier 2 ICT visa with them, due to some internal audit and rules they dont allow work in UK on dependent visa (though legally you can work). Now once i get a new T2 ICT visa/COS, will i get a new BRP ? And do i have to surrender the BRP which i have currently ( it is valid till June 2019). How the procedure works? or i will have 2 BRP's? Ideally this shouldnt be the case (common sense applied).

Hello Manas4648

I think that I will be able to help you with this one.

This seems like quite a complicated case, so I think it's always the best to consult with the professionals and to gain a little bit of clarity with your situation.

For cases like this, I would do as much research as you possibly can, as it is often the case that a small technicality that is easily overlooked, can cause catastrophic problems in the near future.

If you visit this Tier 2 Visa page online, then you will hopefully find all of the information that you need moving forward.

Hope that this helps.

Good luck in the future.

Alice
