cooking oil

haven't been here for ages ,do they have recycling facility for cooking oil anywhere in the algarve ? if not what do you do with it ?

In the area I live in ,there is a Collection Bin alongside the other recycling bin's

i'm down the eastern end but although some of the recyling are newer ones not seen any oil ones ,i've only got about a litre to get rid of but don't want to put it in with general rubbish.

The "Bin" for used Cooking Oil will be marked "Oleos"
Can be off any colour .

I don't know how current this page is but there's a section below the heading "Deposição de Óleos Alimentares Usados (OAU)" which gives a list of places where you can find a recycling bin in the Olhão municipality.
There's one in the centre of Moncarapacho, allegedly.

just went to moncarapacho ,don't know where they class the centre but didn't see anything ,spoke to one restaurent cook she said recycling cooking oil is obligatory but they have a big drum they put in and I assume it gets collected .Didn't have the cheek to ask if I could put mine in
