Student to move to Netherlands

Post Posted: Sat Apr 08, 2006 2:09 am

Hey,
I am from India presently doing my Bachelors intending to go to Leeuwarden for my Masters.I have quite a lot of questions.I do hope someone around here will spare some time and help me.

1)How expensive would a single room accomodation be?
2)How much can one expect to be paid by the hour for working part time and how difficult is it to get a part time job?
3)How much would a student need to survive a month ? An idea about the costs of daily consumables would be welcome.
4)How expensive would a used motorcycle be (A decent 500cc +/- bike), just for knowledge.I have come to learn the private transport can be a pain to get around town and expensive at the same time. How expensive is Petrol/Fuel?

Thats all for now, I'm sure a lot many questions would crop up further and I do hope I'll get help here.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Regards,
Indra @ Kolkata, India
