Guide to buying Barbados

Post Posted: Tue Apr 18, 2006 1:35 pm

Hi!

Can anyone point me in the direction of information on buying in Barbados (South coast for windsurfing) as can find precious little information about it or properties for sale.

Thanks

Rachel

I need some advice from people living in Barbados. I am a single parent with a small child. We am looking for a place to live. It must be very near to a very good school, hopefully walking distance.
It must be near other families with small children. And I want a community where people think 'University' when they think of their kids education.

But – I want a place 'green' enough that my child can go outside to play without having to deal with cars on busy streets nearby. I hate car noise & the danger to my child.
Since nothing is very far away, I don't need to be close to town, but I do want to be near other families.

Can anyone out there make any suggestions both about schools & best places to look for a place to rent, buy, or perhaps eventually build?
Thanks,
Dale
