My garden is sprouting out, and everything is budding up for a great show!
The peach blossom & cherry blossom is out in the orchards, and very soon the local daily outdoor mkts will be opening with fresh fruit and vegetables.
The downside? Johnny fat guts Brit is starting to appear with his shirt undone/missing in the shopping malls.
Please I beg of you, please dress accordingly, ok for the beach, anything goes, but the main streets??? don't let us down plleeaasse!!

It wasn't there when I was there *ggg*...

Having breakfast at 'Bagel's' in Yeniköy was my favorite thing to do, when spring arrived. Did you try it? Should be close to your location...

Or having coffee in Ulus Parki - the whole Bosphorus lies under your feet

Sure I have been those places. Actually I sent the message a bit early, now the spring really starts. U can already have weekend breakfast at ur own balcony, or go out and enjoy the places with view.

Come on, any other ideas?

Take the ship to one of the Princess Islands... preferable Heybeliada... Enjoy the day at the seaside without noise

Head for Polonezköy and have a nice brunch there.

Enjoy yourself in Sariyer, at the side where the fish restaurants used to be, there is still one boat which sells 'Balik-Ekmek' or when you leave the Gima Parking area walk to the left side you will see a little tiny restaurant with the best 'Tavuk Döner' you can eat. This rest. is more for the shopowners around - so nothing fancy...

From Sariyer up to Kilyos - after you pass Acarlar - on the left side is a little restaurant where you can have pide - breathtaking view...

That's it for now...
