Pre-schools in Casablanca

Post Posted: Fri Sep 29, 2006 8:12 pm

Hello,

My wife, 3 year-old daughter, and I are moving to Casablanca in late November. We found an apartment near the Lycee Lyautey and are looking for a good pre-school for our daughter.

The American School is a bit out of our price range, does anyone have any recommendations? Our preference is a school that teaches in Darija and Spanish but I think that is going to be too hard to find in Casa. Darija and English would be our second choice, followed by Darija and Tashelhiyt, or Darija alone, and lastly would be Darija and French if there is no way of avoiding it and the school is good.

I appreciate any and all recommendations!

Hi,

I can't help you with your question about schools, but I was curious as to what takes you to Casablanca.

My husband is from Casablanca and we have decided that we will retire there. I too will be arriving in November.

Thanks,

Julia Fadde

My wife has a fellowship to do some research there for 9 months.
Perhaps we will be able to meet for coffee/tea sometime. Have you settled on a place yet?
