settling down in italy

Post Posted: Wed Jul 27, 2005 8:26 pm

Hello,
I am a foreigner (Non EU national) and I would like to open a company in Italy (rome). and of course live there.
I cannot find any help on the internet on how to set up a company in italy, if it is possible and who to contact?
could you help me?

Thank you

Hello tintin,
have you try the Camera di Commercio (chembre of commerce) of Rome?
Tel. 06 520821
Fax 06 6785589
web: www.chamberofcommerce.it/

Buona fortuna!

Thank you for your hint Milly.
I think the best way is to go to the chamber of commerce in Rome and meet a person in charge.
I'll try sending them an e-mail before.

Hi Tintin and Milly,

A warm welcome to Expat Focus and our forums!

Milly - thanks for that info, really useful. Hope you will stick around, no doubt there will be more questions if you are willing to answer them Wink

Tintin - I hope you manage to find out all the info you want from the Chamber of Commerce, let us know how you get on Smile

Kind regards,

Jo
