Capital Gains Tax?

Post Posted: Thu Nov 02, 2006 11:33 pm

Does anyone know how capital gains tax is worked out in The Netherlands?
A few figures......
I bought an appartment in Rotterdam 7 years ago on 100% mortgage
Going by how much the similar appartments on the same street are being sold for at the moment, I calculate if I sold up and paid off the rest of the mortgage there would be approx Eur 60K profit - how much will the taxman want from me?

My dutch partner is an accountant here in the Netherlands. If you wish to email him, I'm sure he could answer your question. Reference that I suggested he email you. multibreen @ xs4all.nl.
