Hi there,
Just to say hello, welcome you to the site and wish you the best of luck with the sale/market. It's a great idea and I hope that telling people about it on here will encourage a few more people to come along.
I think you can't fail to be moved by reports of the suffering and damage caused by the hurricane, and it's important to feel like you as an individual can do something to help those people affected by it. This kind of group effort is brilliant
If anyone wishes to make a donation, then the advice I have seen refers you to sites such as that of the American Red Cross:
www.redcross.org/
Good luck on October 1st - will someone let us know how much money is raised, too?
Thank you,
Jo

Thanks James! The donations are pouring in, literally. We are having to rent a moving van to collect them and a storage building to hold them in. Once the sale is over and the donation is made, I will make sure to post back here to let you know how much we raised. We are also thankful to have a couple of companies who are going to match our donation. It's amazing how many people have opened their hearts at this moment.
