who knows central Italy like the back of their hand..?

Post Posted: Mon Sep 26, 2005 6:37 pm

Hello everyone,

Am Joost, new on this forum. After 15 years away, my Italian wife wants to return to Italy..., so to my full happiness we are about to move there!!

The plan is to find an ideal place, to live and work as a small accomodation business. But, as we have not travelled much in Italy, we miss more in depth knowledge of the territory, to help us decide on a location.

Therefore I would like to get in touch with people with good territory knowledge of the RURAL AREAS from east Liguria, Toscana and those "regioni" around it.
I know it's a large area, but if u have travelled there and can tell us about places you think would be ideal to start up a home and a small accom. business on a SMALL BUDGET... please let us know...?
Any tip is welcome ......!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers & CIAO, JoPa.
