As far as I am aware the tax threshold here is €15K, under this you do not pay tax (I don't)

Just a provo on the above, with this dire exchange rate we are getting now for the € you must remember that we pay in euro's here and this will increase or decrease what tax you would have to pay here..and at the going rate....dire!! 98.0 € cents to the £ sterling today.

As I understand it you can opt to have your pension taxed at 5% with the first 2K free of tax or pay standard Cyprus rate which Cyprus inland revenue website listed as first 19.5K tax free then 20% with the rate increasing above that (2008 rates)
