Furniture Shops

Post Posted: Mon Oct 10, 2005 9:51 pm

Hi

My house will need furniture very shortly when the building work is finished

Has anyone bought furniture out in Bulgaria, does anyone know of any good furniture shops around Varna area --- but any other area would be of use as long as they have a web-site

thanks

Phil

Hi Kavarnaphil

From your posts, I thought you were in Kavarna yourself? And so were able to help others with this kind of stuff and buying property there? Maybe I've got this wrong?

We have some contacts over that area but have been out of touch with them for a bit, so not sure if they are the most up to date or the best available right now.. but they were good!? Hope this is a bit of help

Hi Quest

No you have not got it wrong, I have a property in Kavarna which is being re-built and have been there many times to sort out one thing or another - it will be ready to live in from christmas time, however I need furniture

There is a very good furniture shop in Kavarna itself, but the one I have seen and that I will more than likely purchase from is in Varna, although all smaller items I will get from Kavarna

I sent the post to see if by chance there was anyone that may have bought furniture around the area and could give me any other ideas

Phil

Hi Phil

ooops, on reading my reply to you last time, I think I sounded rather abrupt, didn't mean to do so, but towards the end of a rather tiring weekend when we had too much work to do.

Anyway, apart from the furniture shop varna which I am sure you know about, there are some other on-line suppliers. We live in Sofia, so are not really the best people to ask as firstly we brought our furniture over with us and secondly of course find everything in Sofia itself that we need. I shall ask around and try to help if I find anything useful for you.

What kind of stuff are you after - everything or just selected items?

Cheers

Hi from a new member.

A british couple in VT have started a furniture company who source producers in bulgaria. Their web site is stil-v.com but this site only has a small sample of standard items. I have a place in Sofia and VT and bought kitchen and bedroom furniture from them which is all great and good prices (muh cheaper than Sofia). I took them pictures of the styles I wanted and they found the best people to make it, very handy and western styles!

cheers
