Shipping personal goods, ie. vehicle, furniture, electronics

Just found this again; anyway what's the deal on bringing in goods after obtaining your residency. I obtain my permanent residency papers but still dont have my DNI as they said this will take another few months. But I have my visa papers.
I am thinking next visit to the UK i can bring back some of my electronic stuff. Is there any time limits on this?

Has anyone done a recent household, car, etc (container) move to Argentina? We are moving outside Cordoba early next year and are looking for recommendations on moving companies.

I know this is an ancient question, but I can offer some insight on this. My brother works for a shipping company and you're right that there are some stories of horrible experiences out there. When you ship something using a container, how it's packed makes all the difference, and that usually comes down to experience and equipment. If you need a specific type of vehicle shipped to a certain location, find a company that has the necessary experience to know what they're doing. As an examples, here's a company that ships to Argentina and offer's motorcycle transport: www.a1autotransport.co...entina.php Experience really counts double with international shipping since there's import taxes and other laws to contend with. Hope this helps if anyone else needs advice.
