self sufficientish in rural Italy

Post Posted: Tue Nov 15, 2005 9:30 pm

Hi I have just joined this forum and about to leave uk for life in a warmer climate. (jan 2006) I have done extensive research around life in Portugal and have just been pipped at the post with a property I have been watching for over a year, whilst waiting for my own house to sell. Are there any expats on this forum who are intending or already are living a self sufficientish lifestyle in rural Italy, Sardinia could be a possibility. Would be good to hear your experiences. regards Lynda
