I know this chain is for Croatia but i was wondering if anyone could post any tips on just moving to a forign place like that. I want to be in the neighbouring country of BiH but the thought of up and moving is the same. Did anyone have any reservations about just packing up like that and moving. Its a dream of mine but i must admit i am a little apprihensive.

I notice that question was posted some time ago, but I can help if you're still looking for some information. My wife and I moved from the USA to Croatia. We lived in Dubrovnik for a year and a half and it changed our lives. We loved it so much we ended up buying a home in the Old Town of Dubrovnik. If you, or anyone else is looking for information, let me know. I've been through it all and can answer all of your questions and share our experiences.

Hi To All...

I'm an American retired with my husband and travel to Croatia each summer since he has his roots in Dalmatia and loves coming back home to visit. We won't be living here the full year because of family back home in the USA, but I still try to learn a little of the language here and there. It isn't easy for sure! If anyone has fun ideas to help me become more fluent, or wants to share stories, please do, that would be fantastic! If emails are allowed on this site, mine is Meadow2345 @ aol.com. Smile

I've just rent apartment last week for 2 persons from Mexico, they are staying here 40 days to get know Croatia better, and are planing to move here. Now I see that many peoples picked Croatia for their destination. I'm glad for that. If you need any accommodations in Makarska you may contact me.

Kind regards
Ian
