visa photo question

Post Posted: Wed Dec 28, 2005 12:50 am

Hello, all. I've looked on several websites for requirements of photos to submit when applying for a Bulgarian visa. Alas, this proved fruitless. All the sites told me is that I must submit a "passport-sized photograph" and I wonder: do I have to get this taken somewhere like the license bureau (I mention that because they take country/state ID photos, drivers license pictures, etc) or can I simply take a digital picture and resize it?
I emailed the Bulgarian Embassy here in America about this, but got no response. Perhaps because it's a silly question.
Anyone? Thank you.

A normal passport size picture from a foto-studio will be enough

Any of the photo machines dotted around do a good enough photo for the visa

Took some heads up photos at arms length of myself on a digital camera, uploaded them to PC and refitted them to size. On my D visa application form they specified the size on the top left hand corner. Were also accepted when I applied for my Litchna Karta.

Good luck.
