Buying land in Morocco

Post Posted: Thu Aug 13, 2009 12:27 am

Hello,

I want to buy some land on the beach in Morocco. I saw an interesting plot of land on the website "www.landinmorocco.com" but I do not understand the difference between Agricole and Urban land. How many square metres are required to build a villa on Agricole land, and what is the procedure?

I huge difference for foreigners. If that web site is legit, they should be able to answer your questions. Foreigners would have to get a Vocation Non-Agricole (VNA) meaning rezoned to non-agricultural and you would have to purchase minimum 1 hectare of land depending on the region and you would not be able to sell off plots of that land.
