Selling goods in France while living in the UK

Post Posted: Tue May 22, 2007 2:08 am

Please can anyone tell me what to do regarding income tax etc payable on goods sold in France and brought over from the UK. Can you sell art at exhibitions, antiques etc and then pay the tax in the UK? If not, what is the proceedure in paying these charges if you are a registered UK tax payer please? Does anyone know if it is ok to pay the tax in the UK along with your other taxes. What do market traders do in these circumstances? All advise gratefully received, thanks.
