Used Furniture and Appliances

Post Posted: Sun Jun 17, 2007 3:09 pm

Relocating to Kenitra, August 2007. I've located an unfurnished apartment so will need furniture and appliances. Does anyone know where I could find things relatively inexpensive.

I suggest checking out the Moroccan chain store called Kitea. You can find them in the Marjane shopping center in Casablanca, and surely there are locations in Rabat. There might be one in Kenitra, but if not, they might be able to deliver from Rabat. It's cheap furniture, but they put it all together for you and it's reasonably priced, with useful pieces. They also have decent matresses available for beds, at a reasonable price. They also have sales a couple times a year.

Prices of used European-style furniture have skyrocketed these past few years. If you want usable, and inexpensive, I'd look at Kitea first, then find out when they have their sales.

There is a second, similar chain, called Mobilia (so check for them in your area, too).
