Albufeira weather advice needed

Post Posted: Tue Sep 25, 2007 11:31 am

Hi all,
The opportunity of spending a week in Albufeira has come up and since my husband and I have always wanted to visit the Algarve we are practically jumping at the chance! The only thing is, it is from the 7th to the 14th of October and I'm wondering what the weather is usually like at this time of year. I know it's warmer than the north but are we talking t-shirt and shorts warm or light jacket and jeans warm? Also, the place comes with a great pool but is it actually warm enough to use it at this time of year?
Many thanks in advance for all your replies!
Cheers!

It should be pretty nice at this time of year, and it is always warmer on the south coast than where we are on the west. My sister and her husband were swimming in my pool towards the end of October last year. Certainly a jacket may be needed for the evening. Have a great time.

So we've heard. Although they say it's supposed to stop raining this Wednesday. Let's just hope they're right, because the place is already booked and paid for!

Well, I hope the weather has improved by then as we will be out in mid-October as well. I'll have a word with the man.
