MARRIAGE IN AGADIR

Post Posted: Thu Feb 07, 2008 6:48 pm

I am from the uk and i have been with my moroccan fiance for 8 months and 7 months of this i have been in morocco with him,on this visit we planned to get married so he told his parents whom i have never met that he was getting married to a muslim woman from the uk and we would marry here in agadir, they were not happy and refused to give us there blessing and his parents dont want to meet me.We are both in despair and need help so any suggestions to what we should do would be most appreciated. Also i have no home in the uk to return to.

Many Thanks

Debbie

Since he is a Moroccan man, I think you really don't need his parents blessings to get married but it would be nice. Since you are from UK, his parents may expect you to have money, a good job and a house.
There is alot paper work to be filled out and money paid. He (your boyfriend) should help you out with all of it ,if he truly loves you.
