money from UK

Post Posted: Thu Apr 10, 2008 5:46 pm

HI

This is just a general question to people who have money from the UK to live on like a pension or rent from a house.

i live in hungary and i am only keeping an eye on the money we use here. but in the last 8 months with the £ being so weak we have lost about 1/7th on the conversion from the £ which is about 17p in the pound.

could anyone else let me know how it is affecting them are you getting less euros to the pound.

thanks

You are most def getting less Euros for your pounds. Talk to your broker who can explain forward pricing and fixing rates for regular transfers.

Regular transfers is an area that banks are very weak on so a broker could prove a useful vehicle for you.
