Hi dizzie di.

Firstly you have been corresponding with my partner Sean in the Uk on the countrywide-bulgaria website - yes that is me also. So I believe he is going to finalise all details with yourselves about your visit next week and I shall meet you then. Fishing is all around in this area, and there is always the Danube of course, we have a large lake in the village which is privately owned but have never seen anyone use it. It may be possible to negotiate with the owner who is local, if not there is a small river nearby and plenty of others in the area.

Secondly if you put in Skype as a search word, on their page scroll down to Download Sykpe, download it, it is all free and you can either chat by typing in stant messages or ring from computer to computer and as long as you both have microphones and headsets ( my computer doesn't need either) you can also talk free for as long as you like,

Hi skype can be downloaded from here

and info about skype from this page

as stated above only a mic and headset is needed or a usb handset which is used as a normal phone. calls can be made skype to skype (computer to computer) free, or even to landlines, small charge cheaper than BT.

I have tried to get my Bulgarian friend to use skype , but all of them are reluctant and will only use ICQ (can have real time chats, webcam chats etc)

well I can say I found my place "nirvarna" (near Varna)
