Boating /Windsurfing in Bulgaria / St Vlas

Post Posted: Wed May 13, 2009 6:17 pm

Hi

I am planning on taking my inflatable dingy and windsurfer over to my apartment in St Vlas. Does anyone know if there are any restrictions to using the dinghy and windsurfer from the beach next to Dinevi Marina?

The other option I am thinking of is to tie up my dinghy (and outboard) in the marina while I am out there and storing them in my apartment while I'm away. Does anyone know if it is possible just to pay for a few weeks ad hoc use of the marina each year?

One other question - is there a 2nd hand market in Bulgaria for inflatable dinghies?

Thanks Alan

I don't think you would have a problem with the windsurfer if you took it down the beach a bit away from the Marina. I'm sure you can pay to tie up for short stays at Marina. Best to ask at Marina office. I checked this out before and it wasn't cheap. An inflatable might not cost as much tho.
The office might help with sales as well. I'm in Vega just at Marina.
