Hi my name is Ian. My wife, myself and our 2 children are very soon hoping to move out to Paphos full time. We are so excited.

We have a holiday home in Paphos already. We've lived out there separately before we met, so it was over 20 years ago now. We are hoping to move out there in January 2019 and have some visits to schools organised for July when we are next out.

We will move into our holiday home for the next 12 months and use that time to look for a bigger place. I have been trying hard to identify exactly what we need to do as Brexit approaches, as EU citizens i understand we need to complete an MEU1 and provide supporting evidence.

I have done this and have 39 pages of supporting evidence including passports, UKDLs, Bank Statements, income details, birth certificates, marriage certificates, etc, etc but i am trying to set up an appointment with the authorities so we can visit personally in July and commence the process. I would rather start it now than wait until January and then start it.

We want the reassurance that it has been accepted before we travel really. Anyway any advice and assistance would be greatly appreciated as i've emailed a number of different areas of immigration, including the police in Paphos which i understand organise the district of Paphos. To date i've sent about 15 emails to different people within the organisation and had no response yet. Please can you or someone help steer me in the right direction.

My neighbour has said he will take me to the office in Paphos when we visit in July but he says they will start the process but it will then probably take another 3 months before they can offer you an appointment when we will be obviously back in UK. thanks in advance. Ian

Hi Everyone,
Im Sharon, and moving from the Uk Windsor in Berkshire to Cyprus (Paphos Area, but not main town preferably), next month with my partner Mark we've both given up work me as a Billing Analyst and Mark's a Carpenter Builder, id like any advice you can give me relating to renting a property out here, location wise which are the best and what to avoid, we're both over 50 and would just like a peaceful location however not to far from facilities, bars, restaurants and SHOPS of course! We'd also like advise on health care, phones and yellow paper too please as all of the information I have gleaned so far is not clear.

I've booked to come out at the end of the month 30th to look at properties, and hopefully find our dream place to live, so any advice you can give me contacting agents, whats the best way when I get there? Also which ones you've used, and ones to avoid, would also be appreciated. I've contacted quite a few and they all don't seem to be that interested in getting back to you, Or is that the Laid Back Cypriots, Smile and the way they are??

How did you transport all of your stuff from the UK, not planning on bringing much but clothes and a few personal effect, (I do have quite a few clothes, and linen etc... is this best dealt with by adding extra baggage, or getting it shipped over?

Thanks for reading, and really excited to see you feedback.

Best wishes
