Hi, there is a website called Housesitters.com that may be of some use. There's a small fee to join but there are postings all over the world. Good luck!

Hello everyone!

American here from Chicago.

I'm in the midst of working on moving to France permanently to settle down with my fiance and his family in just about two weeks!

I'm super excited for the move, but I'm definitely a bit overwhelmed with what's to come for the paperwork, visas, etc.

I've had extensive experience traveling through the country before I met my fiance, and apart from him, I absolutely love what the country has to offer.

Looking forward to learning from all of you!

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum but I am excited to read some situations that might help me in mine!

I am from New York, I've lived here all my life. I am married to a native of France and we are looking to move to France after 3 years of living together in the U.S.

We are very concerned with finding work for myself and the fact that I am not fluent in the language. I am looking to find a job and continue to learn the language as fast as I can so I can be apart of the community that I love.

I am here to look for some advice on where and/or how to look for a job that doesn't require much French language skills, please don't take this as me not wanting to learn the language it is only a way to generate income while learning the language!

My husband and I both enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. So we are very much looking forward to the move back to the South of France to enjoy the beautiful weather and sea life!

Thank you!
