HELP Dog Sitter Needed

Post Posted: Sat Dec 03, 2005 5:47 pm

Hi Everybody

I seem to be doing nothing bjut appealing for help at the moment, but sometimes this is how it goes.
I have to fly back to England for a week on 4th Januray and need someone desperately to care for my 3 adult dogs, all friendly and easy plus 2 young pups (currently about 8 weeks and yes they have a separate part of the garden to shut them in when required).
iIwould need someone to be here from 3rd January until the evening of 11th January.
My daughter has to be in hospital for a short while back in the Uk and needs some help with the children.

SO please if you would like a change,a bit of an adventure, a chance to see another part of Bulgaria etc then please contact me either by the forum, my email dianaslavcho @ hotmail.com, on Skype or by phone 00359 9729648 (home) or 00359 0885852685 (mobile).
All travelling expenses will be covered plus plenty of food and wine etc will be on hand.
This is a comfortable house with a log b rning stove runnind full central heating, fully equipped shower room and comfortable bedroom.

So come on please someone help me out I will always be glad to return the favour at some time.

Hopefully - Diana

Hello again everyone,

I have managed to sort this problem out as a kindly uncle who was originally flying over for a visit has now agreed to come early and look after the menagerie whilst I am away. So thanks to those who replied.

It may be a thought for the future for all expats living over here in Bulgaria and wanting to go back to visit family etc. What to do with the animals? I will always be willing to help if I can, after all boarding kennels are not ten a penny here like in the Uk are they?

I can't manage horses at the moment, but dogs or small anaimals and birds are welcome ( I have had my own parrot so know all about them)

All my contact details are above if anyone ever feels the need to avail themselves of this in the future.

Diana

hi diana
I was very sad to here your problem of trying to get back to the uk and finding doggy sitters.
myself and my partner are moving to the southeast near harmani in the spring and we are taking four dogs and two cats.we have wondered what would happen if we had to go back home and seeing your story just put it in contexts. What if a group was formed in various parts of Bg who could help each other out at these times.
