Contacts to Teach English In Bulgaria

Post Posted: Tue Dec 13, 2005 11:45 pm

Is there anyone who could forward me contacts to teach English as a foreign language in a Bulgarian high school? I appreciate any help I can get. I know it's important to know people in Bulgaria and that contacts are more important than the phone numbers themselves.

Hi Jen-
My in-laws were both professors at the teaching college in Smolyan for 40 some years. Between them they know just about every teacher in the dang country. What city will you be in? Are you SURE you want to teach at a highschool level? perhaps you are very altruistic, but the pay will not be good.

let me know where you will be and we can work out introductions.

Also think seriously about teaching at university, the students will be more motivated, the pay will be better, and the place that you will hold in society will be ...different.
