Hi Gardenwitch
Sorry to have taken a few weeks to get back to you we have sold our hotel and have been moving into a rental, chaos or what!
Yes Chris and I are still interested in your rental can you send any pics or location details?
We are looking to relocate sometime late summer 2015 but we would be interested before then to come over for a viewing and as they say 'get the lay of the land'
Hope to talk soon, I don't mind posting my email address if you think it would make it easier to communicate.
Rosemary

Hi Ros and Chris

We like you are moving over to Central Portugal. We are planning to be there May.

It would be good to link, may be we could help each other. Its very scary but I love a challenge.

We have been since September negotiating on a little farm, lots of hiccups. I just wish we had looked into renting first.

My daughter lives in nr Tomar. This is the catchment area we hope to end up in.

Hope you make contact

Still in Lancashire UK

Hi Gloria
Nice to hear from someone else who is looking to go south for a bit of warmth and you too sound like you seek 'the good life' Our initial intention was to buy but our hotel business in b/pool has been a recession casualty so now we're going down the rental route. as it turns out a lot less hassle and property rental comparisons in portugal v uk poles apart. you get so much more there. hope you are successful buying your little farm but have in the back of your mind it never hurts to have a plan B and think happy thoughts

Hi we live in Rosemary we live in Standish Wigan, not so far from you.

We used to live in Cape Town and adopted our son from there. We are now sick of the constant cold weather. Hence the planned move.

Peter will be 70 this coming March and I am 67(really only feel 40) . We really are looking forward to the challenge.

We are aware there will be hiccups.

Please keep in touch

Gloria

Hi! If you want to give more visibility to your announcement, try to use www.goguin.com. It's a new platform where you can put your announcement and look for friends with the same interests as you, and it's totally free. I used it once, hope it will be useful for you as well! Good luck! Smile
