Certainly breakfasts in TR can be healthy, as long as one doesn't eat too much! Wink

So 5 TR brands?

Beko- electronic/white goods
Mavi jeans
Ulker ( sweets, biscuits, dairy products)
Turkish Airlines
Vestel- electronics

Now for 5 famous Turkish people

Here are 5 very useful words!
kedi

su

ekmek

I reckon you'll get on like a house on fire, if you've learnt these! Wink

Choosing 5 historical events in TR is quite difficult, there is so much and we are living amongst ancient cities w/fascinating stories to tell!

4-10-1883 The first Orient Express ran, linking TR to Europe by rail.

13-10-1923 Ankara (formerly Agora) becomes the capital of TR

06-02-1935 1st election to allow women to vote in Turkey

2000 Galatasaray won the UEFA cup and UEFA Super cup

23-12-1876 1st Turkish constitution proclaimed ..... and this week there's a referendum for the new one!

Out shopping and feeling peckish? 5 Turkish fast foods next! Smile

5 TR fast foods?
Well that's easy enough! Smile

Durum

Lahmacun

Pide

Ayvalik tostu

Kumru

BTW things'll be very quiet for a few days because of the Bayram! Enjoy! Smile
Don't forget to get some choc gofrets in to give to kids who knock on your door w/Bayram greetings!

What about 5 Bayram things then? Give it a whirl!

Children kissing older relatives hands and wishing them a Happy Festival then being given Bayram pocket money
Visiting family, relatives, neighbours

Now let's have 5 Turkish serials on the box!
