Creshe for English speaking toddler in Istanbul
We have just moved to Turkey from the UK, we have been looking for playgroups, nursery schools in Istanbul but our baby boy is too young and they will not take him until the age of 18months. He is 11 months old and I am a little bit worried about his social life. I would like him to play and socialise with other toddlers but it seems impossible to find a creshe attendend by english speaking babies. I do not mind him learning Turkish but he already speaking two languages, Italian and English so I am not sure it would be a good idea to introduce a new language.
We live in the European part of the city very close to the Airport, yesilkoy, bakirkoy are convenient areas for us.
We would love to catch up with other expats living in Istanbul..contact us...we are also looking for an au pair who could help out with the houseworks.
We are looking forward to hear from you all.

Welcome! Hope you enjoy the Forum and let us know how you get on in TR when you gain more experience!
As far as nursery schools are concerned - would your employers have some information for you or colleagues or other contacts through work?
The Italian Consulate or British Consulate might have info, also the British Council - not sure if they still have an office in Istanbul tho'!
Neighbours might be helpful too. There are several nursery schools in Izmir that have good Eng activities in their programmes so there are bound to be such places where you are.
