Greek Island Spa-cottage for 2

Post Posted: Mon Feb 21, 2011 9:50 am

This renovated spa-cottage is ideal for a single person or 2 people sharing. It has a large covered terrace overlooking the hillside village and mountains. It is a short walk from the beach and public transport is available from the village. All amenities are 5 minutes from the cottage. For photos see
thassosislander.slide.com or email for more information
Thanks
Claire

Hello,

Is your property still available for long term rent? If so how much is it per month? Do you allow pets?

Thanks Smile

Hi yes it is but you'll need to give me some dates and then I can get back to you about a quote. Tell me more about your pet so I can tell you whether it is suitable due to the fences. Where is it that you will be coming in from? Do you know how to get to the island? Thanks Catherine

Hi Catherine,

I was planning on moving to Greece from the UK this year. I am flexible with dates. Could I come over in time for summer? Or September is fine. I was planning on staying for 1 year. Could you give me a rough idea if I came over in the summer and stayed until next summer, how much this would be?

I have two small dogs. They are a yorkshire terrier and a jack rusell. They are good at staying in their own garden, but it would need to have a fence round it.

Does the apartment have its own garden or shared? If it was shared it might be a bit difficult with the dogs.

As I said I am from the UK. Ive never been to the Thassos. I have a car. Is there a boat you can travel across to the island by car?

Thanks,

Ellie

Hi Ellie. As this would be a move I think I have some ideas of a better place based on the dogs needing more space. Would you be able to fly from Stansted for a quick trip over to have a look at the various options there are on the island. Ryan Air is around 31 euro just now one way. If you could find someone to mind the dogs for a week you could stay in the cottage and I could drive you around to have a look at things. Would you like to phone or skype as we can accomplish far more with direct communication. You can phone my landline at 00 30 25930 81412 and the best time is in the morning or afternoon. If you can give me a time that suits you and a day then I can be here to have a chat and exchange skype details.
Thanks Catherine

I would like to know roughly how much the various cottages are for long term let, before I go any further. Could you give me a rough approximation?

Thank you for offering to show me the various properties. I think it would be useful if we could discuss this more over skype.

When are you available, is the weekend any good for you? My email address is elliety_1 @ hotmail.com Did you want to email me your skype address? Or I could call you over skype using your landline on sat? Is 7pm english time ok?

Thanks

I know of one very inexpensive house in the market town of Prinos for around 300 Euro/month which has everything and the owner is from the UK. Then there is a great apartment on the ground floor of an old monastic villa which has the perfect grounds for the dogs. I will try to find out what that goes for but again I think that would be around 400 Euro/month. There are many other little places that need looking into as far as whether the dogs will be safe.
Let's skype on Friday as I will be away for the weekend but will be on email.
Maybe we would exchange more emails with information before we skype. But I do think you should see the island before you move here and having a place to live when you arrive saves money. OK I'll email some photos now
