Eating places in Izmir

The first contribution is Elias, a very pleasant, home from home type restaurant very near the Efes-Swiss Hotel on the street parallel to Kordon promenade. They do many delicious olive oil type salads and dishes, pies, meat dishes, lots of Aegean and Mediterranean style food. There are a few desserts on offer too including fresh fruit salad. Reasonably priced, friendly service, seating indoors or outdoors on pavement, handy location, very clean, wheelchair friendly, clean loo, relaxed atmosphere. No alcohol though and only regular tea and Turkish coffee, no herbal teas.Local home delivery service available and of course one may chose dishes to take home oneself.
I really like the place. I've taken guests there and they've enjoyed their meals.
