Puppy needs a home

Post Posted: Thu Jan 19, 2006 3:16 pm

A kind, loving home is required for a female long haired brown and white pup, approximately six weeks old, due to be checked by vet this Friday. She is now able to feed herself and is trained enough to use newspaper for her toilet. named Daisy at the moment, she has had a rough start being taken from her mother far too early, so any kind soul with the time and facilities to take a small pup, who looks like she will remain fairly small, give her a better future then she was destined for, please contact either myself or Quest Bulgaria, who are working in conjunction with the dog rescue charity.
You will need some experience of handling a puppy, a safe and secure garden, the time to spend trainng and exercising her and be able to travel to collect her.

In fact two puppies need homes, they are unrelated and this other one is also female, about 12 weeks old, large, possibly alsatian crossed, very pretty with sable coloured coat , large paws and ears that are almost standing. I have named her Coco after Chanel)l, she is ready for training and a new home.
The same criteria ref time, kindness, training applies as above, please let me know if you are interested. You can contact me direct by phone on either 00359 (0) 9729648 or mobile 00359 885852685.

Dianaslav - absolutely - if anyone at all can please take a puppy in to their home and give love ... just let us know... we will do all we can to make sure you are matched up with a dog that suits you. On a personal note, we surely wish we could take in the puppy, alsation cross with big paws.. just our type, but we live in the centre of Sofia in an apartment and so our own German Shepherd Dog is plenty to cope with and I would never take on a dog unless I could love it for life.

Please help us and support in our efforts to get strays off the streets and to find homes for all unwanted and malnourished dogs in Bulgaria.

We are committed to helping the Bulgarian dog charity to round up strays, vaccinate them, tattoo them (so that they are on a register) and castrate them.. then find them loving homes.

From all our subscribers we donate 10 euros to the charity and the same from every advertiser (which we are adding to their bill !!!). Tonight we learned of an advertiser who is not only giving 10 euros but much much more.... going halves with us on producing T shirts and setting up a web site and domain name entirely dedicated to this fantastic charity. We thank him very much....

Many thanks for all your support in advance
Jain and Chris Goodall, owners and publishers of Quest Bulgaria

Firstly in reply to Pauline Gee, and looking forward to your contactr details, I will keep a pup for you if you let me know which one is going to be the most suitable. The larger one i going to be quite large by the looks of it and is called Coco. The small one is very brave, copes with my 5 dogs very well and tail is always wagging, I have called her Daisy, but if you want her I will quickly change it before she gets too used to it. I often call her busy bottom as she runs everywhere with little tail wagging away.

So thanks for that andf wee will arrange something when you come over in February they are safe with me till then.

To Jain and Chris Goodall

Thanks to you I am now in regular correspondence with Dr Stoyanov in Sofia and he has asked me to try and set up a new rescue centre in conjunction with the charity and run it for them in the rasovo/Lom areas This of course is a big project and my first thoughts have been to get in touch with the RSPCA International, join as Associate members and apply for funding. Also I need a Bulgarian person of some standing to approach the 'boss ' of the village with a view to a piece of land being donated to the charity in return perhaps for an an article in Quest Bulgaria, featuring him, the vilage and his generosity!! There is one house which apparently is just outside the village boundary and would be ideal, bujt the owners never had proper plans etc for it so it cannot be sold on. However I would be willing to pay the 200 or so euros required for the documentation if we were then assured of getting the property as a donation. The owners are long gone from there and it is falling into disrepair anyway. What do you think??
I really don't think this is the place to discuss the charity matters and would like to be able to correspond with yourselves so that copies of all discussions we may have can be forwarded on to Dr Stoyanov and he is kept fully in the loop.
I have many ideas for progressing with this, with the right support, so please let us get at least our heads together and do all we can to support him and the charity.

Thanks for all your help so far,

Diana.

Pauline

I have quickly renamed the small pup LULU as it suits her far better, so Daisy has gone out of the window and Lulu is curently asleep on my foot under my desk.
All best wishes for your imminent move,

Diana
