Re: Nursing jobs in Saudi Arabia and Dubai

My Wife is an experienced nurse and qualified in both adult and child ITU. Does anyone have any ideas or contacts for her to get a job in the UAE. Does anyone have any information on the salary she can expect.

Many Thanks

Hi luabita

What ever you do do not listen Mikkie, Advice given is enough to put bill gates off trying to find a job here, Not good. Mikkie doesnt work here I presume so that would put him her in the category of giving advice when not understanding the market place.

Nurses. Here in the UAE they are in dire need of good nurses withan excellent qualification such as yo have got I am left in no doubt that you will have no issues what so ever finding a well paid postion here in the UAE. You should also bear in mmind that there are other advantages to Nursing here in Dubai so muchg so that they even make the Residency visa application for nurses a little more easier than us mear mortals. You fall into the category of your spouse (presumably a bloke) when youget married can have you sponsor him for residency, that is only allowed to certain proffessions such as engineers, teachers, and of course nurses.

Your qualification would be most welcome here that is for sure. As far as jobs, well Dubai is currently in the farreaches of building a medical city which will incorporate hospitals and medical facilities galore. My first port of call would be the internet looking at the Medical city, do not approach the job agencies as yet as they need carefull consideration due to their lack of pro active support.

Try Dubai prior to Saudi Arabia, slowly get your slef into the Middle eastern groove prior to Saudi Arabia.

Best of luck in whatever you decide to do and beware of false advice. You will be well paid, certainly better than where you are now, and you will be made truly welcome, regardless of post qualification experience.

All the best

Andy
