Does India have nursing homes/assisted living retirement?

Post Posted: Fri Jun 01, 2012 5:42 pm

I was wondering if India has anything like that? I have visited India twice. I know I cannot afford a
retirement center here in Florida. I was curious if I could afford it in India? Would they be able to accept my social security checks from the US in India? Thanks for any assistance.

Yes, in India we do have such facilities in private sector only as the govt. is least bothered about it.
