Moving items to CR

Post Posted: Wed Sep 12, 2012 12:29 am

My husband and will be retiring to Costa Rica. We are selling everything except what we can't live without, such as my pots, pans, sewing machine and smaller items. We were told to take everything on the plane with us instead of shipping it. Does anyone have any experience doing either? We know it will be expensive to take things on the plane, but in the end probably cheaper than replacing Calphalon.
