Moving to Bergen
So my company has offered for me to move to Bergen. I have traveled over there virtually every month for the past two years. Therefore it shouldn't come as too great of a shock. Are there any guides to the process of registering over there and obtaining your tax card ? Payment is going to be in NOK and handled by ADP. I will be working from home primarily.
My plan is to take my UK car on the ferry from Harwich to Denmark, then Denmark to Bergen. The car will stay with me for a few months until I can purchase a Norwegian one. I will move into furnished rented accommodation. Therefore I won't be taking much over with me. I am scanning Finn.no and supplementing my poor Norwegian with Google Translate !
So there is my very loose master plan. Can you see any huge gaping holes in it ? Or does it have more holes than a fishing net ?
Cheers and thanks in advance,
