Last year (or maybe the year before), thousands of people were kicked out of China for teaching English on the wrong visa. Most of them had been scammed by agencies telling them falsely they could do it on a tourist visa.

Yes, That happened last year. Since last 2 years, I am doing a job in "Teach In China" as an English teacher. But every document and VISA of mine was updated so I had not faced any kind of problem.So if you are working as ESL in China, your every document should be updated.
