Here is another great Canadian Hero.

Imagine a guy going 40,000 kilometres around the world, in a wheelchair, using only his own two arms for motive power?

That is what a Canadian named Rick Hansen did, to raise money for spinal cord injury research in Canada. His trip took two years, two months and two days, and because of him over $24 million dollars was raised for his dream, the end of wheel chairs, for ever, thru spinal cord research.
